Five Questions TK Kravitz:

As TK Kravitz, Georgia native Tevin Thompson blurs the line between hard-hitting Southern rap and contemporary R&B. His melodic tunes are more sung than rapped, and his Auto-Tune-laced vocals are set atop highly detailed, skittering trap beats. Subject-wise, his songs are typically centered around money, relationship issues, sex, and empowerment.

Thompson was previously a member of TK-N-Cash, an Atlanta rap duo who released a mixtape on Columbia-distributed Reckless Republic in 2014, in addition to a few singles. Aside from TK-N-Cash, Thompson earned songwriting credits on releases by Trey Songz, Flo Rida, Juicy J, and many others. He debuted his TK Kravitz project with a self-titled mixtape in 2016, featuring appearances by Ty Dolla $ign, DeJ Loaf, YFN Lucci, and others. After signing to 300 Entertainment, the single “Space” (featuring Sexton) appeared in 2017.

As you see yourself, who is TK Kravitz?

I consider myself an ambitious, humble kid from Augusta Georgia that’s passionate about music.  Ultimately I just want to win at everything I do.

Tell us about your current project?

My New Project 2.0 sounds amazing! In my opinion, sonically it’s bigger, the production is bigger and I’m going deeper with my songwriting and delivery!

What’s on your bucket list to accomplish as an entertainer?

As an artist, my goal is always to express myself in a way that as soon as someone hears my music they develop a personal connection to it. As an entertainer, of course, it’s my goal to be acknowledged for my work, right now that’s a Grammy in my mind!

Will you be finishing out 2017 on the road or what’s on your horizon for 2018?

I’m currently on the road and plan to be for the rest of the year while gearing up for 2018.

The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?

I was making an appearance at a school to talk to the kids and motivate them Long story short none of the schools’ equipment worked no speakers no microphone so I tried my best to talk over the kids but it just became a screaming match lol .
