Five Questions With Christian Vind

Christian Vind was born on September 13, 1995, and pays homage to Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. As a lifelong hip hop lover, his passion for artistry was ignited while watching Eminem’s performance in 8 Mile. This inspired Vind to write music with the hope that others could relate to his experiences and he began recording in Winter 2014. As Vind grew more dedicated to his craft, he utilized his networks and set forth traveling from coast to coast to share his music. The hard work paid off as Vind landed his first live performance at Minneapolis’ The Pour House in Spring 2016.

As Vind focused his efforts on expanding his reach, he grew more determined to create inspirational music for his fans. MTV Artist, Shelita Burke, spoke of Vind, “[he] is an up and coming artist who takes fan engagement to the next level. The way [Christian] connects to his fans is heartfelt and it keeps his fans coming back for more! It will be interesting to watch him grow through the years.”

Currently, Vind is writing and recording material for his first full-length project under new management, A.Win Music. He has recently featured Tha Rift of Rostrum Records’ FREEWIFI on his song “All Da Time” in addition to collaborating with Minneapolis producer, Dixon Deville, on new music. Vind’s goal is to keep building his fanbase and will travel to Los Angeles upon release of his album. Christian Vind is determined to go far and become a great musical success.

Tell us about your current project!

I’m currently recording for my first full-length album! I am excited to see how this project evolves!

Do you feel your current project is the best introduction to you as an artist?

Absolutely! I feel like I’ve finally found a team that shares the same creative vision as I do, while still maintaining their professional expertise and pushing me to be a better artist. It really shows in my new music.

What drives you to cover so much ground musically?

At the base of it all, I’m a music lover. Music is always changing so I know I need to be versatile and even experimental at times to stay ahead of the game.

What’s on your horizon to finish 2017 and make 2018 amazing?

I want to complete my album by the finish of 2017. This will give me great motivation and an amazing start to 2018 because it’ll be my time to take over and show the world who I am as a performer. I am a big believer in goal setting and I’m aiming to hit the Billboard Charts next year!

The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?

One of my craziest “Where they do that at?!” moments was right before I got on stage to perform, one of the other performers asked if he could borrow my chain! I’m not dumb, I knew he just wanted my chain lol.
