Hustle Gang Compilation We Want Smoke

Rappers like T.I. set the background for Atlanta’s industry success.  As Hustle Gang’s founder he now carries the torch as a Underground King of the South.   Hustle Gang has two angles hustle and motivation.  Hustle Gang’s debut studio album is finally here.  Entitled We Want Smoke the collective was formed in 2013 behind a London Boy track of the same name.  T.I. CEO of Grand Hustle Records founded in 2001, enlisted songwriters such as RaRa and Brandon Rossi, however the album didn’t gel until the Hustle Gang developed chemistry. Grand Hustle remains true to it’s Bankhead roots.  After all Atlanta’s popularity lies in trap music.   The idea was to make a super rap group overflowing with talent.

With solo projects on the horizon, and after removing some well known members the mega group consists of artist T.I., B.O.B., Young Dro, Trae Tha Truth, London Jae, 5ive Mics, Yung Booke, Translee, and GMFBRYYCE.  Tokyo Jetz stands alone as the only female artist in the collective.  The music contains heavy reverb and storytelling that remains true to Southern rap.  We Want Smoke contains a total of eighteen rappers and nineteen producers, as the fourth compilation from the super crew.  Fueled by the Atlanta rap scene, the diversity of artist makes the album rare and memorable.  Trae Tha Truth expressed in an interview with Mass Appeal that, “The project has different vibes, different moods and textures of artist, everybody formed together like Voltron.”
