Strange Music Inc. and Rittz Release Last Call Album and Tour Dates

Southern rapper, Rittz @therealRITTZ of Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music Label embarks on a new journey with his latest effort Last Call.  As his fourth studio album the chopper-style lyricist delivers brisk tactical rhymes to give listeners a dose of Southern comfort.  The 21-track album tackles Rittz inner demons with alcohol and drug abuse.  No stranger to inner conflict, Rittz represents his Atlanta roots.  Rittz has been a razor sharp spitter for over a decade.  Rittz was revived behind Slumerican and Shady Records alumni Yelawolf’s track, “Box Chevy.”  Hailing from a community riddled in contradiction, Rittz rhymes his own Down South bad versus evil.  Influenced by Southern greats, Outkast, Dungeon Family, and early Rap A Lot Records emcees.  Rittz has a twisted rhyming technique.  Rittz is an anomaly as a white rapper from the South he represents the ATL underground.  “Down For Mine,” his new video is official Chevy music including a colorful authentic visual.  Rittz has been cosigned by heavyweights like Twista as a force in Chopper rap.

Tech N9ne made the rapping technique popular in the 90’s.  The symbolism in chopper rap lies in the automatic weapon or helicopter synonym is for the quick recorded response.  The rapid pace of rhyme schemes and verbiage that emerge from a rappers vocal pattern.  Most notable Chopper rappers include Twista, Bone Thugs, Krizz Kaliko, RA Rugged Man, and Busta Rhymes.  The first time this technique appeared was in 1980 when the Treacherous Three pinned song, “New Rap Language,” Tech N9ne is also known for gathering the elite chopper talent to introduce and reproduce the immortal technique to the masses.  Rittz keeps the style in the forefront, as it predominately lives in the Midwest.  Its been adopted globally as a respected method of rhyme.  Rittz Last Call tour begins October 13th in Davenport, Iowa.
