How did you decide to get into digital animation for children?

I always had this thing for magic, amazement, Wonderland, and beauty ever since I was a little girl.

When I was a kid I use to get physically abused and I got in a lot of trouble in school and I had a learning disability. (unbeknown to the adults).

As a kid being in a cartoon world was the only thing that kept me alive. I used to pretend like I was in a Disney Wonderland or was in the Land of Oz. Pretending like I was a was a princess that needed to be rescued. Being in my make-believe world gave me somewhere to escape to. The whole princess’ thing, I had to rescue myself laugh out loud!

As a child, I created this imaginary world, where I could escape and it helped me to navigate through the “Muddy Waters” that was my childhood.

I felt it was my duty when I became an adult to really dive into my inner girl and created some that could keep children alive. I created this animated world for other children that may have been abused or have learning disabilities. In addition, giving the same opportunity to escape, but through my animated films.

Where do I where do I see myself in two years with the animations?

I see myself being a household name and having the animated films become a huge success in film and production. I also, see my company making history as of woman and for kids with learning disabilities.

In addition, as Latina and a woman of color, I want kids all around the world to have Multicultural characters that they can relate to. My goal is to use my platform to help children learn from cartoon characters that look them and provides them an opportunity to showcase their gifts with the world. Disney and other outlets accomplish that, but not many of those cartoon characters displayed other cultures in their content.

What are some of the platforms that the public can find it?

My animated TV network can be found on Roku, Amazon Fire, and Android. We are working on trying to make it compatible with Apple TV. We’re currently working out some details to possibly feature it on cable TV networks.  So, we’re excited that you’ll be able to find our cartoons on cable TV network as well.

Do you have any plans to approach Disney, Cartoon Network, or Nickelodeon about a partnership?

I will not be approaching Disney, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon about a partnership.  They will probably consider my company a competitor or competition. I’m building something like them, but it’s an animated TV network for Multicultural children as well as an animated TV network. Where kids have an opportunity to showcase their talents, whether that is being a visual actor or voice-overs for characters.

What advice would you like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?

Number one you have to not be afraid to stand out from the crowd. In addition, you can’t be afraid to be boisterous truthful, and authentic about who you are at the end of the day.

You are your brand so how are you relating to the everyday person?

How are you relating to your client?

How are you speaking to their dreams, their hopes, their pains?

How are you offering a solution?

What do they want to create most?

Clients want to know how to make money in their business, why don’t you create a business around teaching them how to make money?

Another thing that people want to learn is how to have followers and build their tribe, well teach them how and to do that as well. those are the two places that people want when they want to start a business so there’s my advice on that and also it’s okay to be a copycat just copy the right cat.
