Juicy J Announces release date for “Rubba Band Business”

Hip-hop revolutionary and game changer Juicy J has announced his fifth studio album, Rubba Band Business, to be released on Friday, December 8th under Colombia Records.

“I started a sound with Three 6 Mafia that is still relevant today. My fans have been behind me every step of my journey and I’m bringing them that same original sound,” noted Juicy when asked what prompted him to create the album,”It’s about getting to the money, celebrating life and just having a good time.”

Rubba Band Business is a 13-track album with notable features including Ty Dolla $ign, Offset, Wiz Khalifa , Travi$ Scott and more. The lead single “Feed the Streets” will feature rap heavyweight A$AP Rocky as well as rap pioneer Project Pat.

Keeping in line with his theme of bringing back originals Juicy has teamed up once again with Loud Records founder Steve Rifkind. Rifkind, who is one of the most respected music executives of our time with an amazing knack for recognizing talent, Juicy J being one of them, he is responsible for breaking some of hip-hop’s biggest artists.

About Juicy J

Academy Award-winner Jordan Houston, best known by his stage name Juicy J, is a hip hop recording artist and record producer from Memphis, TN. Preferring the title producer over rapper, Juicy J makes uncompromised music that is relatable and chart hitting – he joins a very small, elite group of artists who have earned both an Academy Award and a Billboard Hot 100 No.1. Juicy J’s rise to fame began in 1991 as one of the original members of platinum selling Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia. The group spawned an eclectic series of hits over their 20 year span including “Stay Fly,” “Sippin On Some Sizzurp,” “Lolli Lolli” and the Academy Award Winning “Hard Out Here For A Pimp.” 2002 marked Juicy’s first foray into a solo career with the release of Chronicles of The Juice Man. Since his debut, Juicy has released countless mixtapes and collaborations. His work with pop royalty Katy Perry for the track “Dark Horse” saw Juicy J being awarded once again; receiving a Grammy nomination and winning both an American Music Award and MTV Video Music Award. Pitchfork said it best when they recalled Juicy’s dedication to his craft; “Juicy J never sounds tired, never phones it in. He’s the consummate pro.” Outside of his robust recording career, Juicy J is the owner of his own line of Cannabis, Green Suicide, as well as the new face of Colt 45. Juicy J is also a partner in Taylor Gang Entertainment—an entertainment management, record label and production company—alongside collaborator Wiz Khalifa, in which he serves as A&R.
