0Aretha Franklin Gets Fresh Visual to ‘Respect’ via Brian Friedman Choreography
The Queen of Soul is back .. Aretha Franklin has debuted a fresh new video for “Respect” yesterday bringing some much-needed, empowering holiday cheer.
50 years after the original, this song is still relevant and awesome–feat. Aretha’s vocals + fresh dance moves + instrumentals by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
To get in with Millennials//Gen Zers, Warner Music teamed up with DanceOn (Madonna’s digital ent. brand for the next gen) and DanceOn tapped Brian Friedman to choreograph the piece. (he’s worked with Beyonce, Britney Spears, Cher, etc).
Ok, this team put in major work and earned a 5/5 in my opinion! ~ JD
