Bacardí®, Swizz Beatz and The Dean Collection Bring ‘No Commission’ Back to its roots

Swizz Beatz’s unique cultural experience No Commission returns to Miami after a two-year tour around the world which helped put over $3 million directly into artist pockets.

BACARDÍ®, SWIZZ BEATZ AND THE DEAN COLLECTION BRING NO COMMISSION BACK TO MIAMI TO CELEBRATE CARIBBEAN “ISLAND MIGHT”

Taking place from December 7th to 9th, 2017 at SOHO Studios in the Wynwood section in Miami, No Commission returns to its roots after a tour around the world where it has become a global revolution for the future of art and sound, where visitors will explore the intersection of experience and appreciation. No Commission is more than an art fair: it is a unique three-day cultural experience that celebrates the fusion of sonic and visual art, moulding the new generation of global artistic appreciation.

The Miami event is the sixth in a series of artist support collaborations. Past editions were held in Miami, New York, London, Shanghai and Berlin where artworks were sold and artists retained 100% of sales proceeds. Swizz Beatz, BACARDÍ and The Dean Collection launched NO COMMISSION at Miami Art Basel two years ago. Since then, they’ve put over $3 million directly into artist pockets.

A Grammy-winner once dubbed “the best rap producer of all time” by Kanye West, Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean has penned beats for Whitney Houston, Jay Z, Beyoncé and others. Alongside his Wife Alicia Keys, Beatz is a noted fashion designer, painter and art collector. His No Commission platform is designed specifically to support both emerging and established artists alike.

Also, congrats on the upcoming honors from the Recording Academy’s Producers and Engineers Wing for Swizz and his wife Alicia Keys. They will be honored during an invite-only ceremony on January 25th during GRAMMY week in New York.

“With multiplatinum success, fierce dedication to the craft, and unwavering support for the art of recorded sound, Alicia Keys and SwizzBeatz represent the power of groundbreaking ingenuity in our creative community,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy. “Alicia and Swizz have set new precedents for excellence and their contributions are paramount. This is sure to be an unforgettable evening, and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate them together as an undeniable force in the industry.”

The official Recording Academy statement also lauds the creation of the No Commission Art Fair

“A renowned cultural ambassador, Dean’s artistic contributions now also extend beyond music and include fashion design, business, fine art, and philanthropy. He created the global No Commission Art Fair platform that lets the artist keep 100 percent of the proceeds from their sales. To date, $5 million has been given back to these artists.” Recently, Dean graduated from the three-year Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management program.
