Artist Mike Smith Release New Album “Pieces Of My Soul”

Mike Smith has just released “Pieces Of My Soul,” the eagerly awaited follow up album to his Top 10 Billboard Charting Album “Always You And Me.” Mike has given all of himself on “Pieces Of My Soul.” He wrote, performed, sang, and produced the entire album himself. This was shift from his first solo album and a way for him to truly connect with those who listen to his music.

Mike says, “With ‘Always You And Me,’ I decided to utilize my contacts from years of songwriting and producing for other artists to bring in world class producers and performers to craft a sound over my songwriting that had a bit more of a southern rock/country flavor to it. I was very happy with the outcome. On this album, I decided I wanted exactly what I was hearing in my head on this album and chose to make it a very personal experience, what you hear is all me and my rock and pop influences definitely come through.”

Mike has worked with some of the biggest artists in the world including DJ Khaled, TI, The Game, and RZA from Wu Tang Clan just to name a few. Additionally, he plays 12 instruments and has written and produced thousands of songs that have generated tens of millions of streams across multiple genres.

Pieces Of My Soul’s first single is “I Know (I Love You),”, a very intimate song written to his wife Erika, with whom he shares an amazing love story. Mike states, “Erika and I almost married in college, broke up, and reconnected on the 10th anniversary of our breakup. Nothing more surprising or amazing has ever happened to me and she is the inspiration for so many of my songs. This is my way of thanking her for being in my life.”

Mike is hoping to continue the success he has had over the course of the last two years. He was the star of BET’s Hip Hop Competition Show “One Shot,” that co-starred DJ Khaled, TI, Sway Calloway, King Tech, and Kxng Crooked, and had multiple Billboard hits including the top 10 hit “You’re My Kind Of Beautiful.”
