0Netflix Scores with Bright
After seeing Will Smith on his promo tour for “Bright” I signed up for Netflix and had to see what the hype was all about.
“In an alternate present day, humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Two police officers, one a human, the other an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which, in the wrong hands, could destroy everything.”
Based on the trailer alone, I was excited to see the film. I mean, be honest, it’s Will Smith. He can do no wrong in my book.
On another note, the Inferni are a BEASTTTTTTTT and they way the Slay is nothing short of epic….. OMG! The action in this film is LIT like a mugg. With that, for this to be a fictional film it shows a lot of what’s going on in our world today if you can read between the lines. But when Will ever said, “Take your Shrek looking ass back home to Fiona!” Lmfaoooooooooo.
The movie keeps your attention from beginning to end. The intense action combined with the unique story really forces you to follow along. Also, the ending…….. Babeeeeeeeeeeeeee…… All I can say is…….. Wowsers! Yep, it’s like that.
Bright is directed by David Ayer (Training Day, End of Watch, Suicide Squad) stars Will Smith (Men in Black), Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby), Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Lucy Fry (11.22.63), Edgar Ramirez (Hands of Stone, Zero Dark Thirty), Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva), and Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad).
