Nipsey Hussle Wins with the Odds Stacked Against Him

Nipsey Hussle representing Slauson Ave, Los Angeles, California dropped No Pressure featuring Bino Rideaux on the platform that independent artistry keeps him fed. As a prerequisite to Victory Lap,  Hussle maintains that high risks equal high rewards.   He recently pinned an epic distribution deal with Atlantic Records.  Nipsey Hussle launched a clothing smart-store and brand entitled Marathon Clothing in June of this year.  The storefront fuses technology and marketing to certify the Hussle West Coast experience.  Hussle also recently hinted at the ease of forming a rumored Super group with himself, Dom Kennedy, and YG on his Los Angeles 92.3 radio station interview.

The gritty rhymes are about Hollywood and balance between God and Life.  Nipsey Hussle offhandedly changed the business of rap distribution by choosing to control his own destiny. The infamous mix-tape “Crenshaw” sold for $100, as hard copies, and was as exclusive as 1,000 copies. He then followed distributing Mailbox Money for $1000, as a hard copy, and selling over 60 copies. A respected young Rollin 60’s Compton Crip, Nipsey has teamed with Adam Andebrhan and Stephen Donelson, beneath the blessings of West Coast Icons, to bring his business ventures to life. Hussle has been documented as having a vibe similar to a young Snoop.

Nipsey leaves the listener hungry for more. The EP’s beats breeze from track to track. Hussle’s lackadaisical, mild-mannered flow is a signature. The West Coast’s language breaths life into the lyrical content. Nipsey allows you to visualize the California lifestyle.  “Rap N*ggas” is the first track and the visual for the freshest addition to Hussle’s catalogue. Now CEO of All Money In Records, Nipsey Hussle walks the path of West Coast giants.  He has redefined the rap hustle.  While the bar was set high for hi commercial studio debut he was quoted as using rappers like Nas and Snoop Dogg as a blueprint for his 16-track album.

Strictly speaking for Compton, Nipsey represents for the youthful banger, while still appealing to the original gangsters through his Hollywood hood dreaming. Despite the pressure Hussle seamlessly “balances both worlds.”  His independent rap ventures come from a genuine love of the music. Crenshaw was a classic. This mix-tape is a preview of what’s to come, on official studio album Victory Lap which releases February 16th.  The odds of Hussle going platinum after six years without a studio release are stacked against him, yet somehow I think he will continue to rise as one of California’s emerging icons.
