Rap Group N.E.R.D. Returns with No One Ever Really Dies After Classic Interlude

The Neptunes, Pharell and Chad Hugo [created funk rock band in 1999 entitled N.E.R.D by adding member Shay Haley.  The infamous Star Trak Riders have the rarest production tempos and features in the music business.  After two Gold albums on Virgin Records, NERD released previous album Nothing in 2010.  After a six year hiatus the trio returns with electronic funk album, No One Ever Really Dies.  Pharell Williams also known as Skateboard P, is the lead vocalist and keyboard.  Chad Hugo is the lead guitarist, and Haley is the main percussionist.  The Virginia Beach natives were discovered by New Jack R&B producer Teddy Riley.  In youth the group often teamed with the unconventional beat breaker Timbaland.  After a Collector’s Edition was released of their first album “In Search Of..”

Pharell certifies “individuality as the new wealth.” Nerd represents a mixture of exciting genres, and rap innovation.  The Neptunes provide electrolytes in addressing the issues of Trump’s outlandish rhetoric assuming a travel ban and unprecedented immigration reform, circa a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, as they use electro-funk to shed light on these political issues.  A star studded tracklist includes Kendrick Lamar, Future, Andre 3000, MIA, Rhianna, Gucci Mane, Wale, and Crooner Ed Sheraan.  Pharell uses his rock bass synth savvy position to draw in those lost in the technology.  Music has an emotional impact the perils of the millennium has desensitized all people.  Pharell and the Neptunes’ are using the digital evolution to make an impact for years to come.  The two singles off the album, “Lemon” featuring Rhianna, and “1000” featuring Future have trap and new wave inspired melodies.

Pharell uses his own trip-hop to change the game.  A leading artist, designer, and CEO his moods range from deep concern to extreme relaxation.   The mass appeal of this album is immaculate hippy production. It’s a break from the 808’s that saturate the industry. It’s a journey to the bright side of Virginia, through the ills of society.
