Axel Leon presents tracks from ‘Liv Loud’ and new project ‘Juicus Christ’
Respected Bronx lyricist Axel Leon held a private listening event at Jimmy’s NYC Midtown location, this past Thursday hosted legendary music mogul Steve Rifkind of Loud Records to give attendees a first look at his Juicus Christ project and new mixtape Liv Loud.
As hors d’oeuvres and refreshments were served Steve Rifkind provided an introductory precursor for Axel and his future in the music industry. “Jim Jones introduced me to Axel at the BET Hip Hop Awards and said to me, if you are going to start Loud Records again, I have the perfect artist for you,” said Steve Rifkind, “And that brings us here!”
Taking the crowd through his Liv Loud mixtape Axel Leon had the entire room locked into a vibe full of head nods showing appreciation of his talent. After, he presented tracks from recently released project, Juicus Christ receiving the same gratification. Notable guests for the evening included Music Manager Jimbo, Rob Stone, Yomi Desalu, Recording Artist and Activist Mysonne, Recording Artist Younglord, DJ Michael Medium of Hot 97, Recording Artist Willy Dope, DJ NOE, Terrel Blair, legendary editor Cynthia Horner , Jakk Doe, Rocko Rathon, Johnny Nunez, and more.
