Five Questions With Rising Dallas Hip Hop Star Junya Boy

Dallas, Texas underground  Hip Hop sensation JUNYA BOY recently released his latest single titled He Aint Right featuring BET Award-winning R&B/Pop Artist Bryson Tiller. Currently in the studio with producer Rick Lander, working on tracks for his forthcoming LP Time and Time Again, set to drop in 2018 we hear great things about this young lion’s future.

Performing live throughout the Southwest, Junya Boy has proven himself a versatile MC with his incendiary live performances, most recently sharing the stage with legendary Rap Group Eightball and MJG in Mississippi.

Backed by his uncle Alex Mitchell, who supported his musical vision, Junya Boy rode a wave across 2017 with hot tracks like Whip Some Sick which was featured on BET, and received airplay on WJMI in Jackson, MS, Oh, Oh, Oh, and along with the recently released hit song He Aint Right featuring Ft. Bryson Tiller.

The Hype Magazine got the increasingly popular Junya Boy to weigh in on a few things following the release of his new hit with Bryson Tiller

Tell us about your current project single He Aint Right Ft. Bryson Tiller.

It’s huge. I’m loving the feed back from that. It was a big look working with Tiller. We got the video coming soon…

Do you feel your upcoming full-length project is the best introduction to you as an artist?

Oh yes, I make music cause its something I love, so anything you hear from me will define me as a serious artist…

Do you have a bucket list as an artist?

Yes I do…If so, what are your top three? I would like to be at new years time square 2019. I want a GRAMMY. I also would love a platinum album. I’m working hard to get all these things now.

What’s on your horizon for 2018?

New music. And just working to solidify myself as a household name…

The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?

I really haven’t had too much of that. But kids and lots of women approach me when I’m out… that’s big to me…
