Sony partnered with three hot artists, including 2017’s breakout star, Khalid, for the second installation of their “Lost in Music” series, on Friday, January 19.  The event was was held at Avalon Hollywood, where guests enjoyed a free performance by London on Da Track, H.E.R., and Grammy-nominated Khalid as the headliner. London on Da Track opened, spinning a succession of today’s hip-hop hits, and some of his own most prominent singles such as 2014’s “Lifestyle” by Rich Gang ft. Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan. R&B newcomer H.E.R. graced the stage next, delivering beautiful live renditions of her work off H.E.R. Volume 2. Lastly, Khalid shut down the show, performing several songs off his debut studio album, American Teen, including hit singles “Location” and “Young Dumb & Broke.” It was a packed venue, with dim lights, decorated by bright purple and blue lighting effects. Sofia Richie and several Vine/ YouTube celebrities were in attendance, including David Dobrik, Cody Johns, Josh Peck and more.

The media giant will hold a subsequent “Lost in Music” event in New York next month, and is slated to have a presence at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas this March.
