This Weekend Only: A Look At The Olympic-Themed Snowdays Collaboration With Kellogg’s

Manufactured in 18 countries and marketed in over 180 countries, Kellogg’s is arguably “the” cereal company. Products like Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes and Rice Krispies were a major part of many childhoods, while non-cereal brands like Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, Eggo and Nutri-Grain remain mainstays within the snack market. Kellogg’s has been known to collaborate with other interesting brands, and one such collaboration is going on now with the Snowdays Shaved Cream Co.

To mark the completion of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, Snowdays launched a shaved ice cream pop-up stand at the Kellogg’s Café in New York City’s Union Square. Guests can enjoy three Olympic-themed shaved ice cream flavors and take photos on their own Corn Flakes cereal box. A limited time event, the pop-up stand will be there through 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 25th.

On behalf of The Hype Magazine, I visited the Kellogg’s Café to experience the Snowdays-related excitement. While I arrived early on Friday morning — before Snowdays’ stand opened up — there was still plenty to look at and enjoy, especially as a Tony The Tiger enthusiastic. Photos below.
