Flatbush Zombies Pay Tribute to Legends in ‘Headstone’

The Beast Coast is forever grimmey!

The Flatbush Zombies are hitting the ground running in 2018. Recently the Brooklyn trio announced their next album, Vacation in Hell, will drop April 6.

If there was any group to personify and bring to life The Rap Hippie name, it’s these guys. They’re raw and rugged and give you their dark twist of NY rap but, still will rap circles around you. Eric Arc Elliot, Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice have a dark way of delivering their bars and they have in turn created a fan base around it. Their new song and video Headstone is no different.

Take a ride with the zombies in this head bobbing song that will give you a great look at these guys ability to ride the beat, bounce off of each others flows  and pull you in with their delivery. In this all black and white video FBZ are joined by their crew of about 30+ just spittin’ in what seems to be a Brooklyn parking lot. The director really captured a simple yet effective video by just sticking to the script when it comes to a grass roots hip hop feel. In addition to all of these attributes, the crew approaches the song in a unique way by giving props to all the great rappers and their work. You can find different classic titles intertwined in all of their bars and it just flows so well. The song is full of bars like this:

I hit it doggystyle, she throw it back

Yeah, I’m born to mack

It’s dark in Hell, it’s hot so leave me where I’m at

I’m livin’ how I wanna, no reasonable doubt

It’s clear to see, all eyez on me, four hundred degrees

Who am I? Ruthless, Eazy does it

Are you ready for the Vacation in Hell? Check out the video below and get ready for the album drop coming soon.
