Jag Releases Visual To ‘The Kapernick Effect’
South Central JAG releases a social and political message with his new visual to ‘The Kapnernick Effect.’ The single tackles the ongoing movement against police brutality and the continuous battle between white officers and unarmed young black men. The video shows Jag on his knees while a gun is being pointed at his head.
The release of this powerful video could not come at a better time with the news of the Sacramento Police Department gunning down 22-year old Stephon Clark in his own backyard by shooting him 20 times this past Sunday. The police reported that they thought he was holding a gun, but it turned out to only be a cell phone in his possession.
