London Hotspot “Sexy Fish” To Host One-Night Only At “MACE New York” On March 5, 2018

On Monday, March 5, 2018, glamorous Mayfair hotspot Sexy Fish will undertake an ambitious and exciting cocktail menu launch. That new menu will be unveiled in three cocktail capitals — London, Singapore, and New York — with the full list of brand new, sustainable serves from its cocktail cookbook. In New York, the Sexy Fish takeover will be taking place at MACE at 7:00 PM local time. Sexy Fish’s Head Bartender Georgia Billing will be traveling to the East Village, along with and bartenders Patricia Lozano Peral and Dario Trentini, to work with MACE‘s mixologist Nico de Soto and team.

MACE — which launched in 2015 — was named the 42nd Best Bar in The World by the World‘s 50 Best Bar Awards in 2017. For this special pop-up event, the brick-walled space will be transformed into a sumptuous lounge bar, including artwork displayed at Sexy Fish. Visitors will be able to sample the entire Sexy Fish menu, as the team brings the opulence of Mayfair to Manhattan’s East Village for one night only. In preparation, the Sexy Fish team has shipped ingredients and glassware to MACE.

Said Jérôme Allaguillemette of Sexy Fish in Mayfair, London: “This menu took the best part of 10 months to create, and the result is truly remarkable, something I’m very proud of. Our brief included three-pointers: be as sustainable as possible, surprise our guests and create delicious cocktails.” As part of the process, the core Sexy Fish bar team of six expert mixologists created a sustainability-oriented menu that replaces citrus, herbs and garnishes with a homemade range of tinctures, distillates, cordials, syrups and shrubs. These items are mixed into the 21 new serves, adding depth of flavor and balance, all whilst retaining the sense of luxury for which the bar at Sexy Fish is synonymous.
