MIT student/All-American athlete turned musician, SK releases new video
Bronx-based NYC singer, writer, rapper, guitarist, engineer, producer ‘SK’ is NOT your typical urban artist. Before fully embracing hip hop, SK played acoustic open mics 4 to 5 nights a week in Boston and was the lead guitarist in an old school funk/R&B band.
She went to MIT, studied math, and was an All-American athlete. After several surgeries, SK switched focus from athletics to music. She started taking night classes in sound engineering and production. From there, she started recording and engineering her own music.
