Stephen Curry And Under Armour Announce Fourth Annual Summer Tour Across Asia

Four years. Three World Championships, two MVPs. Expectations shattered, stereotypes deconstructed and reassembled. Stephen Curry has climbed to the mountaintop, again and again, driving his team to titles through will and hard work. Leading by example, he has shown his team, his fans and the world that even when you’re wired differently – the unexpected for a basketball superstar, a game breaker who shifts the perception of how basketball is player tenacity and will win out, and that mindset doesn’t change; even going going into a decade as a professional, Stephen continues to grind, working hard each day mentally and physically to prepare for next season.

On September 5, Stephen will depart the United States to bring that mindset and will to win Internationally: on a seven-day, three city tour of Asia, making stops in Manila, Philippines; Wuhan, China, and Tokyo Japan. The 2018 Stephen Curry Asia Tour Powered by Under Armour will Bring Stephen face to face with some of his most loyal international fans, an opportunity for them to learn what it takes to become Verified to beat the odds and expectations, the hard work and sweat that goes into earning respect and validation and a chance for Stephen to culturally immerse himself in each city’s people and places, connecting with his fans in person.

“I can’t wait to return to Asia with Under Armour and celebrate our third title with my fans in the Philippines, China, and Japan,” said Curry. “Coming back to Manilla and Tokyo again is exciting, as my previous experiences were so much fun there. And getting a chance to go to Wuhan for the first time, to learn about the rich culture of the city and meet the next generation of basketball players determined to the blaze their own trail. It’s going to be incredible.”

Stephen will participate in a number of consumer activations and basketball clinics, sharing his skill and knowledge of how he has changed the game and broken the mold of what the world expects of a basketball superstar.

Tour Dates:

September 6 – 8, 2018: Manila, Philippines

September 8 – 10, 2018: Wuhan, China

September 10 – 12, 2018: Tokyo, Japan
