Who Is: South African R&B Standout Nakedi
With a decade of experience under his best touring his native land, South African R&B singer Nakedi is now eyeing mainland U.S. awareness. From Fresh Jams to performing at the SERA Awards in Lagos, Nigeria Nakedi has watched the reception of his singles “Summer Days” and “Run With it” do wonders for his standing with hometown fans.
A descendant of Pretoria, South Africa Nakedi has been in love with music for as long as he can remember. He started off writing songs, then performing and eventually included jazz lessons from local musicians. Along the way, Nakedi had a change of heart and wanted to explore other avenues, landing on his interest in pursuing a degree in computer science. As fate would have it in the midst of study, Nakedi realized his true calling was in music. Returning to his art, Nakedi has delivered crowd favorites You’re The One For Me as well as his latest Prettey Brown Eyes.
