The Hoodlum Comedy Club debuts in October

Persian beauty, Ranna Royce, has been working alongside multi-platinum producer and publicist, Jonathan Hay, building their boutique record label Hoodlum Ball Records. From their headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, the creative duo have already racked up millions and millions of streams for the upstart record company. Besides the staggering amount of streams for their ever-expanding catalog, their music has also been in the top hip-hop publications in the world, even going viral. In May, industry moguls DJ Whoo Kid and Mike Smith partnered up with Royce and Hay for The Whoodlum Ball, which landed on 8 different Billboard Charts, including #1 Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Royce also collaborated with Smith and Hay for the #1 Billboard Jazz album that they boldly titled Jazz [Deluxe].
Ranna Royce was thrust into the public eye after her breakup with Bizzy Bone from the classic Bone Thugs-N-Harmony that caught national attention. She addressed the hostile situation in the song “Indiana (Remix)”, which was posted on the popular site MediaTakeOut. The song, produced by Hay, also featured Kanye West‘s artist Cyhi The Prynce and was placed on the chart-topping The Whoodlum Ball project.
Hoodlum Ball Records is part of Mike Smith’s SMH Records conglomerate. Smith has a current crossover hit with Hay titled “Beautiful Day” that’s on the Top 20 Billboard Christian charts.  Smith and his record label were a major part of the popular TV series, One Shot, that aired on BET and starred heavyweights like DJ Khaled, RZA, T.I., Remy MaTech N9ne and Sway Calloway.
Royce and Hay’s upcoming album, The Hoodlum Comedy Club, is said to be highly controversial in nature. Music industry specialist Nancy Byron, who helped launch Joyner Lucas into stardom, has signed on to help push the project. Royce and Hay will wrap up the year with a festive spirit, dropping their Christmas album A Hoodlum Holiday.
