Who is Lil H.O.R?

With a serious dose of style & swag, Rashade Rouse a.k.a Lil H.O.R is the newest thing to break into the rap game, busting out officially from Dolla Town, aka Darlington, South Carolina. Already establishing an impact with his music by combining vibrantly big beats with powerfully dynamic vocals that take the art of the hook to the next-level & beyond – Lil H.O.R has had his eye on the prize since day one and grinds harder each n everyday.

As you see your self, who is Lil H.O.R?

I am Rashade Rouse, musically known as “Lil H.O.R”, and I am a humble and evolving artist with music that combines vibrantly big beats and tonality which changes the energy in any room.

What brought you to the entertainment industry and music specifically?

Ever since I can recall, I have just loved the energy and the sound of music. I really can’t explain it fully, but the rhythm is a part of my daily existence.

What and/or who influenced the sound you bring today?

Although I really listen to a lot of other artists and vibe to their musical energy, Lil Wayne has really been one the main artist that has influenced the sound that I have created today.

What’s happened in your career that makes you feel this is the industry for you?

Everything up to this point in my short span of life so far. A lot of people have really encouraged me in the industry and sincerely have been vibing with my energy. I know that I’ve got a long way to go in carving out my path, but I am in it to win it!

What was the biggest obstacle in getting to your current career phase?

Not listening to the negative and taking it personally, and getting rid of the naysayers around me. So very thankful I now have people around who believe in me and are willing to share their industry knowledge.

What do you want people to get from your music?

My Objective as an artist is this, I want people to enjoy my music vicariously and I want them to not only enjoy it, but share it with others.
Tell us about your current project, musically or otherwise

Really excited about my latest single now “Never Bring A Lil Hor'”. It’s a different sound and phase of musical vibration from other tracks that I have done previously.

What do you feel has been your greatest life achievement so far?

Besides making music, getting the opportunity to share my artistry here in The Hype Magazine and now the world!

If you could collaborate with one artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Ha, of course, I am going to say Lil Wayne, because his music has influenced me in every aspect of creating my own style.

If you had to pick one song of yours, that really explains YOU, what would it be?

Life is easy – it talks about coming from the gutter, in other words, your lowest of the low, and never quitting. I’ve been through hell and back just to get to this point in my music career, and nothing is going to stop me now.

Last but not least, HYPE wants to know…What’s your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?!” moment…

Pulling up at this club to perform, finally realizing that I was actually performing and doing the sound check… It was a surreal moment!
