NBA Point Guard Isaiah Thomas Joins Kevin Hart on ‘Cold As Balls’

Just in case you missed this week’s episode of Cold As Balls from Kevin Hart‘s Laugh Out Loud network featuring, NBA point-guard Isaiah Thomas!

Watch as Isaiah and Kevin bond over their similar heights and crack small jokes on one another.  Isaiah also opens up about the highs and lows of his NBA career, covering everything from being drafted last in his draft class to his time in Boston and more.  

Additional Episode highlights include:

  • Isaiah talks about what it was like to be selected last by the Sacramento Kings in the 2011 NBA Draft.  (3:52)

  • Isaiah discusses the moment that leads to him being traded to Boston and reveals his favorite Celtic teammate from his time there (5:39)

  • Isaiah gives his top 5 Point Guard rankings in the NBA, putting himself at the top of the list followed by Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, Damian Lillard, and John Wall – Kevin goes on to give Isaiah a hard time for failing to mention Kyrie Irving. (6:14)

  • Towards the end of the episode, Isaiah opens up about his reaction to being traded to Cleveland. “I poured my heart into that city and gave them everything I had, so that was tough to depart that situation…I was very upset, I was mad.” (7:58)

  • Isaiah later goes on to discuss what went wrong in Cleveland, playing alongside LeBron James. “It just didn’t click, for whatever reason.  It was nothing personal, it just didn’t work out.”  (8:48)
