Bonnie Li doesn’t mince words on ‘I Want You To Die’

Bonnie Li are releasing new single ‘I want you to die’, taken from upcoming album Wǒ Men. They describe the track as “if The Ronettes were doing a jam with The Kills in a movie by David Lynch”. Bonnie laments her lost love in the style of a 1960s crooner, over a pulsing bassline and sparse electronics.

Armed with her megaphone, vocalist Bonnie Li is a multi-lingual musical polymath who has collaborated with the likes of Mobb Deep. In Berlin she combined forces with Elia M, 1990s free party pioneer and founder of Techno label Sycomor. Elia’s background in industrial, dark sounds proved to be the perfect pairing to Bonnie’s vocals.
