Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson Stopped By The Celtics Beat Podcast To Discuss KD & More
Earlier this summer Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson the host of the “Scoop B” Radio Podcast, reported that a source told him that Kevin Durant would be a Los Angeles Laker next season. Robinson also broke the story that LeBron James would be headed to Los Angeles earlier this summer. Along with three-time NBA Champion, Dwyane Wade would be headed back to South Beach to play one more season with the Miami Heat. Robinson has been taking a lot of heat on twitter about his “Sources,” but they seem to be spot on when he releases his reports. We are still waiting to see about his latest as he reported that Jimmy Butler would be headed to Houston.
Spoke to a source today who confirmed Kevin Durant will be a LA Laker next year.
“Just like LeBron planned his move LA a year or more earlier, #KD is doing the same right now. They want to form the best duo in the NBA and set up KD to be the face of the Lakers post-#LeBron.” pic.twitter.com/BWR9TOWPMZ

Again….not confirming anything…..source seemed adamant… I’d downgrade and say that he’s highly considering it at best. Long season ahead and lots of things could happen between now and then.

This past week Robinson was a guest on the Celtics Beat Podcast with host Adam Kaufman. Giving some insight on what his Sources are telling him about Kevin Durant’s possible plans to team with LeBron in 2019. Again, we are only six games into the 2018 season, but it is never too early to start planning for the future. The full interview can be streamed below!
Earlier today Lakers President of Basketball Operation and part owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Magic Johnson can be seen joking with Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, and company about landing James. Magic stated that he has plans of landing another high profile free agent next season.
I will give you a hint: His first name Rhymes with Seven. pic.twitter.com/Xfl2nBWHfd

Before the season started I was able to ask both Dennis Smith Jr. and Harrison Barnes about the possibility of Kevin Durant joining the Lakers next summer:
“They gotta come on with it. Were are going to play as hard as they are and it will be something to see,” Smith Jr told me.
Harrison added:
“The west would still be the west, and I don’t think it would change too much. If you look at the top of the west Golden State is still going to be a great team, and Houston is still going to be a great team. Other great teams like OKC, Utah, and teams are going to be stacked still so, and I think for us it goes back to internally competing every night.”
