Doktor Kaboom!: Look Out! Science is Coming to Dallas February 5, 2019

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for Doktor Kaboom!: Look Out! Science is Coming! will go on sale Friday, October 5 at 10 a.m.  Doktor Kaboom!: Look Out! Science is Coming! will entertain audiences during two matinees on Tuesday, February 5, 2019  and Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Wyly Theatre in the downtown Dallas Arts District.

 

The original Doktor Kaboom! show in which the good Doktor takes his audience on an educational tour of the modern scientific method, using humor and comedy while demonstrating spectacular applications of the physical sciences.

Topics covered include: safety; pressure and force; simple machines; velocity;

application of science to everyday life; the scientific method (hypothesis and experimentation); multiple experimentation; constant discovery of new information and data; definitions: chemical reactions, exothermic, external and chemical formula; mass; air pressure and demonstration vs. experimentation.

All tickets for Doktor Kaboom! Look Out! Science is Coming! are $10 and can be purchased, beginning on October 5 at 10 a.m., online at www.attpac.org, by phone at 214-880-0202 or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House Box Office at 2403 Flora Street. The Box Office will be open 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and before performances – closed Sundays.

Doktor Kaboom is an over the top German physicist with a passion for science that knows no bounds. Sporting chrome goggles, orange lab coat, motorcycle boots, and wicked cool hair, Doktor Kaboom travels the world, thrilling adults and children alike with an explosive comedic style that is guaranteed to please every crowd. His improvisational skill promises no two shows will ever be the same, and his character-driven comedy will entertain audiences of every age.

Nothing says science like KABOOM!
