Isa Marina – No Grey

The granddaughter of famed Cuban vocalist and actress Isaura Mendoza, Isa Marina, has just released her newest single “No Grey”.

“No Grey” is an R&B track with an afrobeat twist. Isa described her inspirations behind the song by stating “I fell deeply in love with someone who was very close to my heart. We ended up falling into your stereo-typical millennial ‘situation- ship’. On and off and back and forth, it was not for me, and I needed an answer: if you love me how you’ve declared you do, are we moving forward as one or not? I needed to get out of the grey area for my own sanity, and I did. He never gave me an answer, but his silence told me everything I needed to know. I decided to move on and remain patient for the love and commitment I knew I truly deserved and wanted.”

NYC-born and Bronx raised, surrounded and infused with the rich cultural heritage of her Afro-Latin roots and native New York, Isa Marina has quickly risen to become a celebrated singer-songwriter and model. Her music is reflective of her multifaceted personality, soulful roots, edgy exterior, and overpowering vocal ability.

Her sophomore EP, Mirrors Volume I, made its official debut November 11th, 2016 via HelloBeautiful. As the long-awaited project continued to take flight, in October 2017 she was invited to compete on MTV’s TRL, for the show’s ‘Rock the Mic’ competition hosted by Keyshia Cole and won the competition. May 2018, Isa collaborated with Tidal, when she was invited as a guest on popular Latin online personality, La Bella Chanel’s show: ‘Ayudame Chanel’.
