LuE – Known

South African rapper, LuE, announced the release of his new single, “Known.” A combination of deep tech house and hip hop, there’s a soulful feel to the lyrics and production, but is a clear example of “feel good” music. Motivated by DJ Milo, “Known” is a single on LuE’s upcoming project “EscAPADE,” slated for release sometime in 2019.

LuE is best known for his generous, authentic and heartfelt performances. He captures the energy of his audience and feeds it back to them in performances that speak to the heart of what people are feeling. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and in an extensive number of popular venues.

Born Oct. 4, 1996, the Libran grew up in various locations throughout South Africa, finally arriving on the famous Vilakazi St. where he witnessed the comings and goings of famous artists. Seeing those musical icons had a major impact on his creativity. His earliest exposure to music was through his uncle’s extensive hip-hop collection.
He realized in high school that he had talent and wanted to be a recording artist – specifically, a rapper. He began attending open mic nights at local clubs. LuE worked on training his vocal abilities and had the good fortune to meet music producer, Bradz la Muzik in 2013. The producer developed LuE’s musical talent and the artist credits much of his success to that nurturing environment.

LuE has released several underground hits that include “The Greens, “Spiral,” and “Vibes and Memories, all of which were part of his debut album called “Subtle.” He also recorded “Moments” with DJ Milo, “Down For You” with DJ Naidy,” and the SoundCloud sensation “Upset” featuring Bradley Jamal.

The release of LuE’s newest single, “Known,” is truly a feel good song with warm, happy tones that uplifts and will make even the most staid of listeners want to grab a dance partner. “Known” brings together all the best elements to create a song that’s destined to be on everyone’s playlist.
