Nia Boom Interviews Wyclef’s Protege Heads Music Artist “Jazzy Amra”

True to her name Heads Music Artist “Jazzy Amra” from the Bronx is just that, a little Jazz and R&B mixed with a soulful Hip-Hop edge. Hailing from the Boogie Down Bronx, Kingsbridge Road to be exact Jazzy Amra is Grammy Award winning artist and producer Wyclef Jean’s (from the Legendary Fugees) protege. Making heavy waves in the industry with a dope new sound that is definitely lacking in today’s musical climate Jazzy’s voice and undeniable aura puts her on the radar. Working with her mentor Wyclef, Harlem Rapper Dave East and others Jazzy is making her mark.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Jazzy to discuss her upcoming album “Amra” slated to be released this Fall. She talks about her influences, being new to the industry, how she got started and more… The cool, collected, sultry singer’s latest release “You Got Me” is a must in any hip-hop head’s playlist.
