Grammy-nominated singer and producer Bantu drops the Team Salut remix of his debut track ‘Roll With Me’ – the first release on new label Blue Future, founded by Jonas Blue and his manager in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.
On the hot new remix, Bantu links up with pioneering trio Team Salut to deliver the perfect mix of fun summer nostalgia and innovative Afro beats. Mr Wood, GKP and Side Chain Manny -aka Team Salut- have reworked hits for everyone from Ray BLK to ZAYN and PARTYNEXTDOOR and racked up over 50 millions plays on their 2016 ‘Dance For Me’ with Mr Eazi and Eugy.
With Bantu’s body of work including hits for Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, A$AP Rocky, Camila Cabello, Pitbull and Chris Brown, he shares song-writing credits on Roll With Me with critically acclaimed musician, poet and philanthropist, Shungudzo, and vocals with Shungudzo and ZieZie. He also co-produced the track with platinum-selling hitmaker Jonas Blue.
Flying the flag for Zimbabwe, Bantu released his first single as an artist, Holiday, in 2016 and his debut EP Africa for the Summer in August 2017. Roll With Me continues in the vein of these debut releases, reflecting Bantu’s multicultural background with a collage of infectious sounds, rhythms, and narratives. It follows the 2018 release of Just a Little, (which was featured in the Netflix hit series “On My Block”) and Jackie Chan, (featured on the new FIFA 19 soundtrack).
