Fifth ANOC Awards to Celebrate the Achievements of Best Athletes of PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games

This Wednesday, November 28th, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) will present the prestigious ANOC Awards. Taking place in Tokyo, the event will celebrate outstanding sporting performances from the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and recognize the achievements of the NOCs as well as distinguished members of the Olympic Family.

Awards for the Best Male Athlete, Best Female Athlete, Best Male and Female Teams and Most Successful NOC of PyeongChang 2018 will be presented along with awards for Outstanding Performance, Outstanding Athlete, Outstanding Lifetime Achievement and Contribution to the Olympic Movement.

The ANOC Awards 2018 take place on the occasion of the XXIII ANOC General Assembly which convenes in Tokyo on 28-29 November and will once again attract more than 1,000 delegates from all 206 NOCs, as well as representatives from International Federations, the IOC and upcoming Organising Committees. On the agenda will be the ratification of the ANOC Executive Council. The 2026 Olympic Winter bid cities will also present to the NOC family for the very first time, providing NOCs with a unique opportunity to learn more about their Olympic offerings.

The General Assembly and ANOC Awards will be live streamed on ANOC’s YouTube Channel.
