R&B Nostalgia The D.C. Takeover, Vol. 5 goes down November 16 at TropicaliaDC

As CEO of Brooklyn Concrete Management, NYC based singer-songwriter April L has vowed to bring the artist perspective to the niche of curating live music events. Working closely with singers and dancers closely for the past decade, April L. has a resume which includes mid-size concerts, headliner shows, corporate music events and music festivals at renowned venues Subrosa, BB Kings (now closed), SOB’s, Lot45 as well as others.

Encouraged by her friends in the DMV area, April has expanded to the Mid-Atlantic region creating an annual R&B Nostalgia platform for local artists. With amazing performers that represent R&B, Pop R&B, Gospel, NeoSoul, Alternative Soul. In her hometown of New York City, April has launched Hello BKLYN as well as festivals in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to go with over 20 other events per year. This coming November 16th R&B Nostalgia the D.C. Takeover Vol. 5 will take place at TropicaliaDC headlined by Davon Fleming, a semi-finalist on #TeamJHud (Jennifer Hudson) Season 13 NBCs The Voice. Also on the lineup is Ted Ruxx, Tashera, LoVel, Darren, Teice, Brooklyn, and LB199X ft. Bria Zhanae.
