Yungeen Ace – Life I’m Livin

Infusing his rap anthems with bluesy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Yungeen Ace has lived a thousand lives in his 19 years. Grappling with guilt and his newfound fame, Yungeen Ace shares Life I’m Livin, his new project. Comprised of nine hook-filled standouts, Life I’m Livin finds Ace taking stock of his place in the world, trying to shake the habits learned in a rough neighborhood in riveting tracks like “KSO Homicide,” warning others against living a life of crime in “Life I’m Livin,” and rhyming from the perspective of his late brother 2X in the harrowing “2X Screamin”: “Mama mama, save ace for me/He’s all alone crying inside and no one can see.” The new project hosts the single “I Can’t,” dropped earlier this week to the tune of over 538k views on YouTube, which finds the Cinematic Music Group-signee speaking out against the justice system and faithless friends who sold him out. Life I’m Livin debuted via Audiomack, where it immediately became the #1 album in the platform’s trending charts.

Life I’m Livin is a spiritual sequel and a worthy follow-up to Life Of Betrayal, Ace’s debut mixtape, released this past August. Premiered by Billboard, Life of Betrayal hosts several buzzing singles including “Jungle,” a poignant banger with an appearance from JayDaYoungan, which garnered over 9.3 million views on YouTube, “Fuck That,” (9.5 million views), “All In” (7.2 million views), and “Betrayed” (3.3 million views). Since the album’s announcement back in June, Yungeen Ace grew his Instagram following up to over 700k followers, growing at rate of more than 10k followers per week. With Life I’m Livin, Ace is ready to take the next step from upstart to institution.
