Christiano Can Drops New “Oddly Awkward”

The second release off of his debut EP, F.A.N.S, and the second song in his ongoing #OnThe5th series, “Oddly Awkward” is the perfect introduction to the highly eccentric – Christiano Can. With supporting vocals from boisterous songstress, Lala Lola, Christiano Can creates a world totally unique on this high-energy song. Bouncing along to the Red Astaire produced track, Christiano bends his voice in ways that awe and amaze. His extreme vocal control is only rivaled by the quick-witted lyricism that flows easily from his lips.

His weirdo aesthetic is worn like a badge of honor, reveling in its own originality and creativity. Exploding forth; Christiano’s large personality comes into full focus from the moment that the first word slams into our ears. While building a team of musicians to assist on the track, from bass-player Labros to Wynstrument on the harmonica, Christiano is able to keep it more than real as he delivers a track developed for those who truly know him… and are now learning.

Built off the gospel and blues hymns playing from his grandfather’s AM radio, Christiano Can’s journey to this point was practically foretold. His support from Chicago legends, Profound and Mike Love to name a couple, only strengthen the fact that Christiano was simply meant to share his message through music. By staying true to his own self, he’s steadily securing his place and making his way to the top of the game.

Intent on staying completely original, Christiano borrows from no artist and develops his sound in ways true to himself alone. Life has tested and tried his oddness, but Christiano is intent on never giving in and reaching for the throne through the power of excellent music and a message that is sure to create a following behind his exceptional artistry.
