JD McCrary, Young Simba in Disney’s The Lion King Live Action Remake Releases Official Single: “KEEP IN TOUCH!”

JD McCrary, the triple threat taking the world by storm has released his first official single “Keep In Touch” with his first official music video debuting February 1st! To JD, “Keep In Touch” means being able to stay connected to his loved ones. “It was a fun and easy song to write because I was able to just sing about all the important people in my life, like all of my grandparents, aunts and uncles, the really cool stars that I have met, and especially my fans!”

At just 11, he has already made history by becoming the youngest male solo artist ever signed to Hollywood Records. JD is set to play the voice of “Young Simba” in Disney and Jon Favreau’s The Lion King premiering in July 2019 alongside Beyoncé and Donald Glover. He also stars in the movie Little which premieres April 2019 alongside Marsai Martin, Issa Rae and Regina Hall.

In 2018, he made his primetime debut at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards where he wowed audiences around the world performing the hit song “Terrified” with Childish Gambino. He also performed a duet with legendary music icon Cyndi Lauper for WE DAY Live at the Forum. Together, they sang a special rendition of “Ooh Child,” that was televised live on ABC. JD has also been invited to sing The National Anthem for the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers and the 2019 Pro Bowl to be televised live on ESPN!

JD McCrary is like a breath of fresh air. He has raw talent and genuine compassion for the people in our world. He wants to use music to unite us which is why many have drawn comparisons to Michael Jackson. Singing, beatboxing and rapping his way into the hearts of America, he has forged his own unique style of music and has already built a rapidly-growing fanbase.

Follow JD everywhere @jdmccrary!
