NBA Insider Thinks LeBron James & Kendall Jenner Will Lure Ben Simmons To LA

Reigning Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons is having a solid second season with the 76ers thus far. Simmons is averaging 16.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 8.2 assists. In a recent game against the Knicks, Simmons loaded up the stat sheets by pouring in 20 points, 22 rebounds, and nine assists as the Sixers beat the Knicks 108-105.

Simmons is currently on his rookie contract, making on average $6,655,113 over four seasons according to Spotrac.

Simmons is slated to become a restricted free agent in the summer of 2020, but the question is, does he want to stay in Philadelphia longterm?

FS1’s Jason McIntyre was recently on the Scoop B Radio Podcast and stated that he didn’t think Simmons will be in Philadephia. One of the reason because he loves LA, his girlfriend Kendall Jenner, and is represented by Klutch Sports, who represents LeBron James.

“We know dating back to before the draft, Ben Simmons loves LA,” Jason McIntyre on the Scoop B Radio Podcast.

“Dating Kendall Jenner, loves it out here, he’s on that same agency that LeBron is repped by, Klutch [Sports].

McIntyre also referenced the lack of chemistry between Simmons and big man Joel Embiid off the court.

“They’re friends on the court, but they don’t hang off the court,” said McIntrye.

He added:

“I’m telling you, I don’t see this being a long-term thing.”
