Soul/R&B Artist Stee Drops New Melodic Single “I’m A Lover”

R&B/Soul recording artist Stee recently released his new single “I’m A Lover”. The track is a melodic and lyrical journey that tells the story of a man trying to win over a woman who is hesitant to give him a shot. The single was written by Stee himself and produced by Malcolm Horne.

Stee, a.ka. Sterlin Colvin II, started his career in the limelight after landing his first acting gig in the fall of 1995 with a small show on the rise called “Creative Clubhouse”. At the end of the of summer 1997, Stee decided to bring his acting career to a halt, finding it difficult to maintain such a rigorous schedule at such a young age.

Stee discovered his passion for music through a fateful meeting in his church in 2001, where he met young songwriter/producer named Malcolm Horne. Malcolm Horne saw Stee as someone who had the ability and talent to bring his productions to life. Although both had no previous plans of pursuing music, their undeniable chemistry sparked the idea that they could both find success in music.

Stee released his debut single, “Good Man”, in 2008. The song gained major recognition when a YouTube curator took a liking to the song and posted it on Youtube’s front page, jump-starting Stee’s independent music career. From this came Stee sharing the stage with major heavyweights like Monica, Lloyd, Marques Houston, & OutKast’s Big Boi as well as working with Big Boi’s Big Kidz Foundation.
