Who is: Mike Baro

Drawn to the music business from young as he admired the work ethic and talent of family members who were highly successful in the gospel genre as well as in the production field.  Knowing that knowledge is power, Mike Baro armed himself with a degree in music production and engineering before finishing his M.B.A all while selling beats to local artists in his college town. His early career compromised of him ambitiously rising through the ranks at Republic Records as he worked on campaigns for The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Nick Jonas, Keith Richards, Enrique Iglesias, James Bay, and others.   His drive culminated in his receipt of the Droz Star Marketing award with feature in Billboard Magazine.

A champion for the “level up” Mike Baro has been consistent in his creative and global perspective. Incorporating outside influences into artist campaigns his keen lifestyle skills have been at the helm at Capitol Records campaigns for Migos, Lil Yachty, Huncho Jack (Travis Scott and Quavo), Quality Control, Zaytoven, Rich Homie Quan, and others.   His current roster overseen at Warner Brothers includes Jason Derulo, THEY., Q Money, Think It’s A Game Records, Phora, Lil Booty Call, Kwaye, and Robnhood Tra.   Success and empowerment at its finest. Mike B. has plans on starting a foundation for those in need, and also giving scholarships to urban youth with an interest in music.
