Brasstracks Release Their Most R&B-influenced Project Yet: Before We Go EP

New York City duo Brasstracks have released a new project – Before We Go EP. The 7-track EP showcases Brasstracks’ brass-heavy soul, hip-hop/R&B influenced production. The duo wrapped up their For Those Who Know EP series back in November, now releasing Before We Go EP. The name of the EP alludes to this being their last project before Ivan and Conor lock themselves in the studio to work on their debut album.

Brasstracks previewed the new EP with 3 singles: Vibrant feat. Pell, Snowdaze feat. Charles Gaines and I’m Alright feat. R.Lum.R. Along with four new songs, Before We Go EP places Brasstracks as one of the hottest new bands that have emerged in the hip-hop/R&B world in recent years. Brasstracks collaborated with an eclectic group of artists in Before We Go EP. The duo proves their ability to make music with a wide-ranging number of artist as their vocals move and mix perfectly with Brasstracks’ horn-infused R&B/soul production.

Brasstracks shared some words about their new project:

“Most people have so far thought that “Before We Go” is some sort of sign of our hiatus or of us splitting up as a band. Exactly what we wanted to you to believe, but it’s certainly the opposite of what’s going on. Truthfully, we just needed to get these songs to everyone, “Before We Go” start and finish an album. Our journey has only begun. It’s going to take some time, and we promise not to starve you guys with music – but that’s the root of it…. Before We Go is a declaration for not just our fans, but for everyone, that we are here to stay, and the next project is going to be even bigger.”

Brasstracks are currently on their headlining tour – The Vibrant Tour – with Kemba and Pell, with sold out shows in NYC and LA, concluding in Denver on March 9th.
