Curry 6 3 Point PE a Throwback to Stephen’s ‘First’ NBA All-Star Game

FROM ’92 TO ‘19

Stephen Curry is quick to acknowledge the value of growing up the son of an NBA star. Stephen’s father, Dell Curry, showed him the ropes, helping him understand how to balance work and life, how to conduct himself in public and private, and how to deal with the crushing pressures of the game. As Stephen takes to the court for the 2019 3-Point Contest in his hometown of Charlotte, his Curry 6 player exclusive (PE) pays homage to Stephen’s first NBA All-Star Game – when he appeared on the bench with Dell for some father-son support during the 1992 All-Star Game.

Quintessential nineties color block style inspired Stephen’s Curry 6 PE. With a teal outsole and upper featuring yellow and purple accents, the design is a shout out to the loud and bold color patterns repped by the NBA and in popular culture during the ‘92 season.

Stephen might have just been a wide-eyed kid back then, but such experiences and the values Dell instilled have lead him to today, lining up to knock down threes as an appreciative home crowd roars.
