dnny Urges Us To Embrace Our Differences In His Debut Single “villain”

Denver-native, Nashville-based, pop singer dnny, a.k.a. Danny Guarino, has released his debut single “villain.”

“villain” was written by dnny alongside fellow Nashville pop-artist, katie MAC, and Will Mcbeath, who also produced and mixed the track. It was mastered by Chris Zurzolo.

“villain” is a feel-good pop track infused with hip-hop elements. This, paired with a catchy chorus and head-bopping rhythm, ensures that it’ll play over and over in your head. The track tackles the journey to self-acceptance and urges us to embrace our differences. While success is often equated with an office job and six-figure salary, dnny aims to emphasize the value of those who choose to run off the beaten path. In line with the fun, upbeat style of the track, dnny also wants the world to understand that being youthful and child-like is something to be proud of. The song encourages listeners to pursue their dreams in good faith and regardless of others’ judgment. “villain” is sure to become an inspiring anthem of confidence and self-love.

From a young age, dnny has balanced playing three sports and performing in select choirs. He wrote his first song at just 7 years old and has always loved sharing the joys of music with others through performance. Now a soon-to-be Belmont University graduate, dnny recently left his successful career as a D1 soccer player to focus on music full-time.

dnny grew up in Denver, Colorado in a very close-knit family of six, where faith and love played a big part in his upbringing. With his mom recently launching her online course pushing educational excellence and his father working to provide housing to those who need it most, dnny was raised in a household full of compassion, and tolerance, which is something that he strives to portray through uplifting and meaningful music. “villain” therefore comes as a powerful testament to dnny’s personal mantra: love, faith, youth.

dnny will be releasing a series of singles throughout 2019, so be sure to keep your ears open!
