DREAMERS drop new single “Die Happy.” On tour now with You Me At Six

Los Angeles-based DREAMERS are excited to share their new single “Die Happy”. With a penchant for crafting hook-filled singles, the band do not disappoint with their latest. Of “Die Happy”, vocalist/guitarist Nick Wold notes, “I wrote ‘Die Happy’ about sitting on my steps till the morning light with a girl I know. She was chain-smoking and I was talking philosophy, and it all made me think of how those little moments can be the most deeply gratifying, where you just feel like your life is complete.” Listen to “Die Happy” HERE. After demoing the song during a writing trip to Berlin last winter, Wold reunited with bassist Nelson and drummer Jacob Wick back in L.A., bringing “Die Happy” to life by introducing futuristic sound design into the classic alt-rock dynamic. Matching it’s complex sonic palette with an immediately addictive melody, “Die Happy” is set to appear on DREAMERS’ forthcoming sophomore effort.

Last night DREAMERS kicked off a US tour as support for You Me At Six with a show in Boston, MA. Tonight the tour hits New York City’s Gramercy Theatre and will run through March 16 in Atlanta, GA. Along the way Dreamers will also play Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. Further, the band will be playing at this year’s Governor’s Ball Festival in New York City on June 1. All dates are listed below.

“Die Happy” is the first bit of music DREAMERS have shared since last year’s Fly and Launch EPs which included radio single “Screws” that was a top #20 hit on the Alternative Chart.

Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn trio DREAMERS have spent the past few years touring non-stop, playing everywhere from tiny bars to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot and Firefly. Along the way, Nick, Nelson and Jacob have shared stages with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, X Ambassadors, The 1975, Bleachers, Catfish and The Bottlemen, and Weezer, while garnering coverage from Fader, Entertainment Weekly and Paste, among many others. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length album This Album Does Not Exist, which spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem”Sweet Disaster,” which hit No. 8 on the Alternative radio chart and was spotlighted on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation for several months. Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,” the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),” which initially charted on Alt Nation in late 2014, when DREAMERS were still unsigned, and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” The band released 2 EPs in 2018 — Launch and Fly – both of which (with “Die Happy”) represent a hint of what is to come for DREAMERS in 2019.
