Grime Legend D Double E Teams Up with Becce J on Blistering New Track “Timing”

Having spent a decade being frustrated by false promises, Becce J has proved that perseverance pays off having not only hooked in grime royalty, D Double E to collaborate on her latest single but also delivering one of the coolest, classiest tracks from a UK artist in recent times.

With ultra-slick production revolving around a hypnotic bass-line and chilled loops, Becce’s silky, crystalline vocals deliver her heartfelt lyrics on her frustrations of being let down by others. D Double E’s trademark rap confirms him as one of the masters of the scene, dubbed “Your Favourite MC’s Favourite MC” by the likes of Dummy Mag and Noisey and hailed by the likes of Skepta and Dizzee Rascal as one of the finest MC’s grime has ever seen.

Based in Preston, Lancashire, Becce J’s journey to the release of Timing would have seen many giving up at the first hurdle, but her inner drive has led to not just this collaboration but also the lyrics to the track.
