Mandy Groves Travels ‘Back In Time’ With New Music Video

Singer-songwriter and notable commercial actress, Mandy Groves, released her new music video for “Back In Time”, the follow up to her Phases EP which she released in December. Daydreaming and songwriting about love lost, the video takes her audience on a trip back in time.

“I wanted to release the song on Valentine’s Day because I love Valentine’s Day, but also because I loved the idea of doing a darker twist on the Holiday. In fact, on Phases, there’s a particularly dark song called “Weakness” and I actually wrote it entirely on Valentine’s Day. “Back In Time” is more of a “break-up” song, but a very positive, fierce, sexy version. It’s all about letting go and moving on because you can’t change the past. I write very late at night usually by myself and I was writing on my little keyboard and instantly I knew that I had to make this my new single and release it on Valentine’s Day as a sort of ode to past lovers.”

A true triple threat, Mandy is well-known in Colorado as a professional dancer, singer, and she’s one of the most sought-after commercial actresses, statewide. Her credits include Village Inn, Colorado Lottery, Bank of Colorado, Coors Light, Dunkin’ Donuts, Dollar General, Mars Wrigley and more. “I didn’t finish that night and ended up finishing the song on set while filming a Village Inn commercial. I originally wrote it to be a slow song, but I wanted to do something different, this time. Once I got in the studio, I was inspired so I switched it up.”
