TV One Premieres ‘Loved to Death’ at the Pan-African Film Festival

TV One hosted an exclusive screening of its new original true crime film, LOVED TO DEATH at the 2019 Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) for journalists, influencers and fans.  Held at the Cinemark 15 Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Theater in Los Angeles, audiences were also treated to a Q & A with film director Lee Davis and cast members MC Lyte, McKinley Freeman, Tobias Truvillion and Chrystee Pharris, moderated by Pat Prescott from 94.7 The Wave.

Inspired by TV One’s true crime programming, LOVED TO DEATH follows a newly engaged couple whose lives are cut short when they are suddenly gunned down by a crazed ex-lover at a toll booth.) Upon meeting and falling in love with Dre (Tobias Truvillion), Monica (Malinda Williams) leaves a long term abusive relationship with Jackson (McKinley Freeman)to be with her new love. LOVED TO DEATH premieres Summer 2019 on TV One.

LOVED TO DEATH is directed by Lee Davis and written by Chad Quinn. Produced for TV One by Asylum Productions,  David Rimawi served as executive producer with David Michael as producer. Scotty Mullen served as casting director.
