Celebrity Jeweler “George The Jeweler” Talks Jewelry Line ‘House Of Fine Gold’ With BFF Christina Milian

George Khalife, aka, “George The Jeweler” has made a name for himself in the industry by being the largest wholesale, gold retailer in Detroit. Through his family owned and operated business, he has connected with A-list celebrities such as Christina Milian, which lead to the launch of their own collaboration “House of Fine Gold.” Their pieces became so popular that many stars began having George customize pieces for them.

“I grew up with gold and it’s been such a big part of my life,” says Khalife. “I truly love my job and what I do and I think that really shows in everything I create,” he adds. His designing strategy: “I really listen to my clientele and consider them, especially for the custom pieces they ask me for, which is my biggest inspiration.”

His clientele includes A-listers like Gigi Hadid, Camila Cabello, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Ashley Graham, Karrueche Tran, Ashanti, Bebe Rexha, Giuliana Rancic, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Hyland, Corinne Olympios, Deb Ryan and more.

Christina began wearing George’s signature pieces in 2016. Shortly after, he began creating custom designs for her. Christina has rocked George’s pieces on countless red carpets and social media posts, and after going back and fourth for months, the two finally decided it was the perfect time to collaborate on a line of their own.

“I have been getting so many compliments on my jewelry lately. 14k gold really stands out, and I love layering my necklaces from George” says Milian. The two were a natural fit, and the line naturally became a huge hit among their fan bases.

“Christina and I connected over social media a few years back and we immediately hit it off,” says Khalife. “I began designing for her and eventually learned of her creative side. We decided to put our heads together and began working on “House of fine gold”. I can honestly say she has become one of my closest friends and is an incredibly creative woman. She brings so much enthusiasm and positivity to the table.”

Khalife love just how popular House of Fine Gold has become in such a short period of time. “Our hoops and classics have been a big hit and we decided to design some for our fashionistas to create something for everyone,” he continues. And next on the horizon for them? “We are getting ready to drop the Silver House, which will be our collection of all genuine sterling silver pieces and we plan on adding some incredible new gold pieces too,” he adds. “We love to go for a sophisticated, fresh vibe,” Khalife explains.
