SSG Ruth Navarro Talks Changes and Expansion of Opportunities for Women in Military Service

It’s Women’s History Month and we got an opportunity to speak with an incredible woman soldier, Staff Sergeant Ruth Navarro. Navarro joined the United States Army Reserve in 2006 as a Human Resource Specialist. She is responsible for placing military personnel in positions that utilize their best skills. Both she and her husband are presently enlisted and balance their Army careers with parenthood.

Navarro is also currently enrolled in university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Finance.

Staff Sergeant, parent, and student – Ruth Navarro is a perfect example of a strong, female role model.
