Argentina’s LULA MIRANDA Sets Herself Free in “Confessions”

Argentinian pop-star Lula Miranda is certainly one to watch this year, having already performed with the likes of Halsey, Maren Morris, and Niall Horan as well as selling out nearly every show to date on her hometurf and greater Latin America. Most recently, the songstress partnered with National Geographic on their campaign to reduce plastic waste in the midst of the global trash crisis. Proving that actions speak louder than words, Lula also participated in their #NATGEORUN 10K.

Lula Miranda’s first official international single, “Cherry Kiss,” was dubbed “a taut pop statement… buoyant, brisk, and incredibly catchy” by Clash Magazine and Refinery29 later featured Lula in their ‘The Drop’ column highlighting the best female artists on the rise today. Refinery29 praised the “Cherry Kiss” video, calling it “…an ode to freedom… a celebration of female friendship and relationships… the women find connection and solidarity with each other in both the good and bad moments” while PopDust drew comparisons to “Beyoncé’s film Lemonade.” L’Officiel calls her “uplifting yet sultry.” Today, she’s excited to release her new tune “Confessions.” Recorded at the infamous Abbey Road Studios, the single is a splendid example of Lula’s starpower and prowess. It’s no surprise, Just Jared called her a “rising star.” Fans can stream “Confessions” below or here: https://lnk.to/LulaMirandaConfessions.

On the new single, Lula adds: “Religious confessional is about professing your sins and freeing yourself of guilt. In my new single, I’m essentially confessing that perhaps life is better being free, female, and guiltless. ‘Confessions’ transmits freedom, happiness and self-confidence. I often tell myself that we as individuals we have the opportunity to always relate and connect to other human beings. With that said, I always try to make my music as relatable to the human experience as possible — whether there’s been infidelity and that hurt still inspires a desire to forgive or when relationships simply come to an end and positivity exists to inspire the memory of the good times shared.”
